Dizzy, KingRichard, and Mendokusaii win Apex Legends Twitch Rivals Rematch Challenge

Several days after their three-peat victory at the CodeRed Live Apex Legends tournament, team King’s Cayon members Dizzy, KingRichard, and Mendokusaii have claimed another tournament victory at the Twitch Rivals Rematch Challenge.

Teams from both the NA and EU regions, competed against each other to get a piece of the whopping $150,000-dollar prize pool. Each region had its own separate bracket, with the winners of each facing off in the finals for the number one spot.

Dizzy, KingRichard, and Mendokusaii were the victors of the NA bracket and secured their first-place finish by defeating EU bracket winner Team Degliddei (Which is comprised of streamers POW3RTV, stermy, and AvalloneHal.

Team Degliddei, put up a good fight but ended up losing by a point deficit of 259-227. Despite this, they actually managed to bring home more prize money than King’s Canyon did. In addition to the money they won per every match victory ($2,000 per win), the tournament also offered up an additional $1,000 for the teams that managed to get the most wins, kills and damage dealt. Team Degliddei received all three bonuses and went home with $11,000 as whereas King’s Canyon won $8,000.

The viewers were able to pick an MVP for each region bracket, and unsurprisingly, Dizzy won tournament MVP for NA, further strengthening the case that he is currently the best Apex Legends player in the world.

This victory is the fifth tournament win for Dizzy, KingRichard, and Mendokusaii, and going forward, it goes without saying that King’s Canyon will be the team to beat in future Apex Legends tournaments.

Congratulations on the victory and we’ll see you at the next tournament!
